Skanda upon His Peacock
Granite, South Indian Tamil Nadu Chola Dynasty Period: 11th-12th centuries C.E. Height: 126 cm. God Skanda is the son of Siva who was made ordering as a head of the armies of the gods by Brahma and Indra. He is often called Kumara or Karttikeya.
