Sanskrit, Puranic & Pan-Indian Skanda

This section follows Skanda, Karttikeya, Kumara and related forms of the deity through Sanskrit literature, Puranic traditions, Shakta contexts and wider Indian religious history. It places Tamil Murugan traditions within the broader pan-Indian history of the god without reducing one tradition to the other.
